Baptism is a public declaration that you have decided to follow Jesus. It represents washing away your past mistakes and starting a new life of faith.
Significance of Baptism
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change. It symbolizes the spiritual renewal that you experience when you put your faith in Jesus. It allows you to publicly declare that your old identity is washed away and you have been spiritually renewed.
We celebrate baptism at Community Church as it is written in the Bible, by full immersion under water. When we go under the water, we identify with Christ who went into the grave. When we come out of the water, we identify with His resurrection.
When to Get Baptized
If you believe Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, you should be baptized as soon as possible. Baptisms are held on the first Sunday of the month during all three services; 9am, 10:30am, and 12pm. Friends and family are warmly welcomed to attend.
